I need to ship a computer to a friend in another state, I have the original box, but I cannot get the styrofoam or the plastic bag for it.

Does anybody know of a place where I can get it custom packed?

Or should i just attempt to jerryrig something. I got plenty of styrofoam laying around, I suppose I could cut it myself, and wrap the case in a
couple of trash bags, or something.

What about a place that sells packing foam? In large sheets?

I can get plenty of that, but its not exactly in large sheets :(

Something blanket sized would be nice. :)

I am brainstorming a number of ideas.

personally, i've never had any probs w/ mbe, but that's just me. that's the best place i could reccommend, and some ups shipping centers sometimes have a custom packer with them as well, but not very often.

The only problem with Mail Boxes, Etc. is that they are franchises. If the local owner is good, you get excellent service from people who care about your package. If the owner doesn't give a crap, well...

Bateluer, take it to your local Staples store. They ship using UPS and if you pay the $5.00 to have them pack it, I beleive you deal w/ them for the insurance, that way you don't have to jump through UPS's hoops to receive an insurance claim. Hope this helps.
