Where can I get an LED front panel connector extension?

I just installed a SCSI hard drive in my computer and the LED wires that plug into the motherboard from the front panel won't reach over to the SCSI card to check HD access. Is there any place where I can get an extension or something?

dont waste your money, find some wire (22 guage or whatever, doesnt really matter) and use that...unless you're conscious about looks or something.

either way, a simple led doesn't require any special wiring by any means.

Don't forget you can grab the LED exciter output from the drive itself. With multiple drives, this is a requirement if you want to know which one is busy...

Cheers!

All SCSI drives have an activity LED header. The pins are closer together than your standard jumper though. I had a bunch of junked RAID enclosures that I ripped mine from and I just added more LED's to a 3.5" bay and it worked great. Green LED on AMI Elite 1600 RAID HBA and red LED's on Cheetah's. (all 12 of them!)

Cheers!

Well, I made an extension out of a CD audio cable. Works just great :D
