Where can I get a military knife?

Just join the military. It'll only cost you 4 years (minimum).

Or perhaps try a pawn shop?

Nah, you can sign one and two year contracts...it's all in what you're looking for and what to get out of it.

Can you? I generally see 4 years active, 4 years inactive.

Yup, but as far as i know, you aren't eligible for the GI Bill. They don't advertise the 1-2 year contracts b/c it's a waste of time and money b/c it costs them $$$$ to train you, only for you to be out of the service a few months after you leave basic.

I got a special knife but i would never sell it, i might take pics of it though.

Best way is army surplus, you don't have to order everything, it does not hurt you to go outside, the enemy will never kill you in broad day light. 😉

The reason I wanted to know is because i got this knife here.

and i just wanted to see if it was worth it or not. 🙂

Yeah, it is a nice knife, just know that most military knives are made to be sharp for a short period of time, it is cheap steel, don't use it.

If you are a collector of knives i can see why you want military knives, otherwise i would rather go for the more exotic steel blends which means more exotic knives.

I am no knife expert so i cannot say if it is a good deal or not, especially since this is a bayonet knife and i have little experience with those.

My knife comes from NATO, i actually have two but one is my service knife and the other one is not, now NATO knives aren't any different if you do not bring your own, which i did, i was born and raised in Finland and that is where i did my military service as a GB, i got the knife from there, that is what i keep with me as my service knife and it has served me well in four war zones. The other one i am required to have as it is NATO standard issue, it's not as nice though.

I wish I have one of these

I know the guy that makes those. He lives just a few miles from me and it a customer of mine.

Wish I could get a DEAL on one myself. 🙁

BTW Go to a knife show. You can usually get a Kabar for a good price.
