I am having problems finding a site on the net to purchase a LanCity LCP Cable Modem. Help me out please.
 
oh dang, I gave a few away for free, I have no more.. would have given you one.. can you use a terayon ? If you could, shipped, $5.00 but not guarantee to work with the cable system in your area...
 
Whoa free, how cool, I found one off a guy on a yahoo auction I think, it was like 50 dollars but
it was new, saves on the cable bill, they install on thursday so I'm crossing my fingers that it
works out well.
 
Obviously I'm missing something here. Is the company out of business? Were they bought out? Are they just not available anymore? Please clue me in. I am new to the broadband scene and renting a modem until I find a good one to purchase. I have seen many threads referring to the LanCity as very good. The smart a** answers are mildly amusing at best. I guess you "Golden" and "Senior" members started out knowing everything. Or maybe you were awarded these titles with posts such as these. :disgust:
