Are they available yet? I have not any for sale on web sites.

I was gonna get an Abit KT Raid but my main concern is STABILITY.

No mention of ATA-100, guess that will be an add-in board.

Search pricewatch, the K7T Pro2-A is available at one store for $129, with onboard ATA100.

for what does the A stand? ATA100? Would that be the VIA 686B South Bridge or MSI own onboard controller?

Search for k7t pro 100 and it comes up for $118 from memorymedia. There rating isn't that great but say they have it in stock. Wasn't the other day.

The K7T Pro is not what he wants. He is asking for the Pro 2. There's a big difference.

I bought from Paragon twice with no problems in the past, and didn't realize their ratings were so harsh. :(

Whats Pro 100 then? Is it the regular Pro with a PCI ATA100 controller?

Thats what I was wondering. I don't know. It seems to be the same as the other. Maybe they just listed it differently. Anyone know.

Yea, it is confusing and the web site doesn't clear it up.

I notice all MSI mobos have model numbers like the K7T pro is MS-6330, the K7TM pro is MS-6340, but the new K7T Pro2-A/K7T Pro2 does not have a model number.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna put a Duron 700 with Memory-man 133 Mosel memory, and a 15mb IBM drive.

I ordered one from Openlinx... for some reason it was the only one that shows up for K7tPro2 in pricewatch.

These guys are like 2 hour drive away from where I live and they had decent ratings so might as well give them a try.

Be careful there, the one from Openlinx is the Pro2-A, with 686B and ATA100. As for the product number, I think all three, Pro, Pro2 and Pro2-A are MS-6330(I think MSI will list them as revision 1, 2, and 3).
