You might wanna try pricewatch.com

But why get a a k6-3?
A duron actually costs less and is faster.

Oh boy here we go again...

People buy the K6-3+ to upgrade old motherboards. Ever notice how a Duron costs more when you have to buy a new motherboard, RAM, case and power supply along with it?

If you have a SS7 mobo you may already have a ATX case and PC133 RAM in wich case it would be well worth it to get a duron with new mobo.

I found a k6-3+ 450 for $50! But i aint telling where beause most of you would go after it and it would sell out! I Have pc 100mhz ram, Soyo 5EMA+ Mobo which ran run k6-3+ and that chip can oc Very ez and performes better about the same as a P3 at the same mhz. There are people in the amdzone forums who reach 4300 in 3dmark 2000 with a K6-3+ @600 with a GeForce2 GTS. Soon i will have that too muhahahah!

You can get the K6-3+ 450 at Tiger Direct. They are 49.99 plus 7.00 for shipping(2-3 day). I got one and have yet to tweak it but they are thehard to get ultra OCing K6-3+. just thought Id make someones day, PM and let me know if it works for anyone out there!! Use Ebates to get 3% off of any TD purchase:)

Yep, I bought mine from Tiger about 6 weeks ago and have it running happily at 600Mhz on my EPOX MVP3G5. A VERY nice upgrade from a K6-2 333! (And yes, the reason I bought this is because I currently can't fit a new motherboard into the budget..so a DURON is not a better choice for me, even though it is a better processor for about the same price...)
