I saw your other post about this mouse as well. I hope that it isn't just a poor quality mouse. I got one of the nyko air-flo controllers for the xbox, and we snapped the joypad off of it in about a month. Cool idea, but not the highest quality product.

3M PMS is pretty good, the very first 'good' mouse pad i have tried. but it gets warped and worn out after a month or two of heavy usage.
for FPS, icemat and stillpad provide best sliding from what i have gathered. RTS gamers prefer the FUNC, your milage may vary...

To be quite honest, I don't see the need to throw alot of money at a mouse pad solution. I have a 3M pad that cost about $12, and it plenty good for my gaming/app needs.

I'll also toss in a rec. for the Func 1030 I've got one w/ an MX500 and it works extremly well. I've also heard good things about the c4 mousepad aswell. :)

I bought into the "rave" reviews and picked up one to replace my last func1030. Needless to say I was buying another 1030 2 days later and the ratpads GS is now occupying a spot in my closet. The Ratpadz is AWFUL! Very hard and rough, cheap feeling. Big waste of money. It survives off of hardocp's good name alone.

You should know by now that there`s no single best mouse pad, just lots of very good mouse pads and its down to personal choice etc,I`ll say it`s a good mouse pad but so is SteelPad,fUnc 1030,Ratzpad,Everglide models,Black Icemat to name but a few, using teflon tape or mouse Skatez on your mouse feet will help even more.

Bottom line is choose your budget and size of mouse mat you prefer, make a short list then start reading some reviews.
