hey,

im looking for a place that sells custom built notebooks for relatively cheap, and one with the options im looking for. If I could just find one with these options I'd be happy to.
any help would be appreciated.

Processor: Pentium3 600-1000 or Athlon4
memory: 128 mb - 256 mb
hard drive: at least 10 GB
cdrom: 24x
screen size: I really don't give a ****

and most importantly i need one with a Geforce2 Go video chipset

I don't care how I end up finding something like this,
I just want a notebook with a good cpu and video, could care less about cpu and ram. I dont need an O/S either.

anyone know where I could get a good deal on something like this?

I wouldn't think that this is "highly technical". I recommend asking this in General Hardware.

Wrong Forum.

However, the only laptops currently shipping the GeForce 2 Go are the ones by dell and Toshiba. The dell is the only one that offers custamization.

/edit - right forum now...

Don't get the DELL Inspiron 8000!!! It is a terrible bug ridden machine. I have had problems with the video card, the infrared port, the sound card, and the NIC. Right now I am EXTREMELY mad at Dell. I sent in my I8000 so the video card could be replaced and what did they do... THEY PUT IN A F***ING ATI M4!!! The performance sucks. It is significantly less than half the speed of the G2GO. Keep away from Dell. Tomorrow morning I am calling Dell and DEMANDING a full refund on the entire system!
