I got mine from Home Depot. It was a few bucks cheaper than the same model at lowes. Both places had various models, including one with swappable modules for crimping various kinds of wires (coax, cat5, etc).
I got the high end one for Cat5 (but it is not a module swapping one). It's called Ideal Telemaster 30-696 is the model/sku I believe. I've used it to make about 10-15 cables (30 crimps) so far and it's worked perfectly everytime (wish I could say the same about myself, but, I messed up the orientation on one or two ends).
I believe the price was $35 or so, but it may have been more. It has ratcheting action and feels like it's built solidly. Don't know if it's the best, but, I'd imagine it's good for a LOT more crimps. I'd imagine cat5 will be obsolete before this tool is.
