Where can I get a good, but yet quiet fan for my 1.4Ghz TB?

I'm about to order soon a new 1.4Ghz TB CPU. But I need your opinion on what good quiet fans I can get.

I've been searching for a good fan for a couple weeks now, but it seems like they are good but too loud, or not too good but quiet.

So please, PROVIDE DIRECT LINKS! Preferably around no more than $30 some dollors.

I hear the Taisols might be good.

Thanx.

Yep, Taisol CGK760092 copper insert is quite good but be sure you have a good airflow.

Ummm...excuse me, but the Taisol CGK760092 is the exact one I'm trying to stay away from. I've been told that that copper insert makes it sound like an airplane and that this fan is not very quiet.

I want a QUIET, but yet good cooling fan.

NOTE: I'm not going to be overclocking my 1.4Ghz!

Huh? How is copper in the base going to make it sound like an airplane? The copper doesn't affect the noise of it at all...

statix's suggestion was right on the money. For your price range there is not a better cooler that is as quiet as the Taisol and will support your 1.4 comfortably.

And please try to be more courteous when posting. We don't HAVE to answer your questions. We do it because we are nice :D

Sure no problem. Sorry about that. I guess I got a little irritated that here I come to a Hardware forum that is meant for you to get help from other people and I wasn't getting it.

Anyway, do you know any good reliable websites that supply that Taisol fan for a good price? If so, please provide the links, thanx.

Hope you all have a great day! :)

go to www.plycon.com and pick up the taisol. It does not sound like an airplane. And if you don't mind my asking, how could the copper insert possbily have anything to do with noise?

I have no idea, that's simply just what I was told a while back in these forums. Perhaps I might have missunderstood or something, I don't know.

Anyway, it's too late now :p I just ordered the Taisol CGK760092 from Inflowdirect.com...hehe ;)

Glad to hear that it is not noisy and that the copper orb has nothing to do with noise....thanx guys :)
