Where can I get a cB0 700??

hey, if you look at the sbject line I think you'll notice THEY ARE
DIFFERENT.. Don't be an ASS, how about giving some people help.. JACKASS..It's a simple question and I just want a simple answer, what is it too Simple for you??
Anyway if anyone can help me out I would appreciate..
A lot of people are saying they have one but are not telling where they got it from..

if you live on the east coast they have cb0s being shipped from PA.

but you are still taking a chance that it wont be cb0..

didn't know I was gonna get a cb0
but the chip I got is SL454

not doing too good at 933 mhz... unlike my 550E that does 733 out of the box

Try Atacom. I don't know their current prices. But I do know they list if the chip is cB0, and they seemed pretty reasonable when I bought mine.

If you want a more sure thing, a whole lot of the P3 650 cB0s are going to 866MHz without a voltage increase. Most of the 700s at 933MHz need a little voltage tweaking and a little extra cooling.

Sorry, i'm no tech head genious.. could someone kindly tell me what cBO stepping is, or perhaps where i could find good documentation? I'm planning on building a pc from scratch soon, and i only know so much technical info on processors. =|

cBO is the CPU stepping code. If you are buying a chip to overclock then you will want to get a cBO processor. The early versions were cA2 and they don't overclock very well at all. But even with a cBO overclocking is not always a certain thing,but you will have alot better chance with a cBO stepping cpu. Heres another link for you.

Woohoo!!! Just called Onvia and had my order changed. They WILL be shipping it from the PA warehouse. For anybody else, I recommend placing the order online and calling quickly thereafter to request a particular shipping location. From what I've heard and experienced, the customer reps will change the orders accordingly without giving you a hassle.
