hello, does anyone know where i can download a bootdisk to get into dos and format my drive and also install wiindow xp or ME. I have a upgrade version of xp, not a full version. I can't seem to find in my window xp desktop that create bootdisk. I want to make a bootdisk to a cd, not to a floppy disk.

Thanks

Doesn't the upgrade version of XP still allow you to boot from CD? Doesn't it just ask for your original 98 disk later to verify ownage?

You can make a boot disk from the control panel of any Windows 95, 98, or ME disk. You can download the software to create a four disk set of floppy disks for Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, or Windows 2000 Professional... all from www.microsoft.com, and they are excellent. Each set is different. Windows XP Professional will not work for Windows XP Home, etc. They are each different. or you can go to www. bootdisk.com and other sites you can google.

CAN you do a full install off the update disc? (Like doesn't it check if there is a previous version of windows installed?)
