Where can I get a blank I/O shield?

If you are planning to customize it then you must have tools to cut those grooves... Then why dont you buy a strip of similar material from Lowes or Home Depot... and cut it to the size ...

Well the problem with just getting material is that the edges of the I/O shield are punched so that it clips onto your case - that's why I want a blank one, so I can just dremel in the ones I need.

Just thinking out loud, but the ridges on the edge only holds the shield in place loosely, til the motherboard is installed. If you cut it big enough, you could simply slip it over the motherboard's jacks before installing the MB. It's only a dust shield, so as long as it fits snug and flat, it would serve the purpose.

Nothing a little super glue can't fix 😉

Since the metal is thin and easily bent, I would clamp it on a piece of scrap lumber, so that the pressure of the tool wouldn't bend it.
