I downloaded somthing a while ago that sped up my download speed for my cable modem. But I cant remember where I found it, any suggestions on where to look?

no, it wasnt a download accelerator. It was something that went into the registry and changed it in some beneficial way.

My guess would be SpeedGuide

They have cable modem registry patches.
