Hi, I hope one of my fellow techy people here can help me. I cannot seem to find this item for my PC case, unfortunately, I also cannot say what it is actually called. Hence the dilema. What I am searching for is the little metal/plastic piece that you take off the back of your case whenever you place a PCI/AGP card in. The case usually comes with them screwed down, and you simply take them out when needed. However I recently changed some configurations in my case and no longed needed a certain card or 2. So I have 2 holes in the back of my case I would like to fill for reasons of Dust/Noise. If anyone could help me find a link to these things I would be greatly appreciative.

Any local Mom & Pop computer shop probably has a box full of them - likely to give you a couple of them for free if you just ask nicely. Wouldn't hurt if you had something you need that you could buy while you were there though...

It's called a card slot cover or filler plate - I usually shorthand it to "slot plate" or "slot cover" though.

http://www.cyberguys.com usually has them in stock if you insist on paying for them... PC Components > Misc Hardware - it's right there at $2. each :frown: ...

That's a "PCI slot bracket", or maybe a "PCI slot cover".

CompUSA stocks them. So does pretty much any place that sells computer hardware. Good luck!
