I am pretty picky when it comes to my shirts, regular t-shirt or button down. I've come to the conclusion that I must have a very different body shape than most, because it's so hard to find anything that fits. All regular t-shirts are too short or balloon out at the waist. The best T-shirt I've found is from Express, just a regular t-shirt, no graphics. They are 57% Cotton, 38% polyester, 5% spandex. They fit great, last a long time, are super soft, and don't shrink. But they keep changing the formula. The last few I got don't list the material %, and they aren't as good. After a wash they shrink up and barely make it to my waist.
And then there are dress shirts. I found the perfect dress shirt years ago, and stocked up. But they are wearing out. They are Arrow Fitted Stretch. 24% Cotton, 72% polyester, 4% spandex. They don't wrinkle, don't collect hair, are nice and light, and last a long time. Oh and these were only like $20 each! I've literally had some of these for like 10 years. But sadly they are finally wearing out. The current Arrow shirts just suck. I bought one this weekend and after washing it the first time its just covered in pet hair from my other clothes, like a magnet. Plus it's heavier and not as wrinkle free like the old ones. It's made of 63% cotton, 35% polyester, 2% spandex. I'm thinking maybe the 4-5% spandex is the perfect amount? Who knows.
Does anyone know where I can find shirts like these? Must come in Fitted 34/35 16.5 at a reasonable price.
