Where can I find the silent 80MM NMB Fans that SVC used to sell?

I just checked SVC's site and they no longer carry the silent 80mm NMB fans. Does anyone know where I could find any?

TIA,

Sal

This is the only store I could find that seems to have somthing close in stock.
Yeah.. That's a different fan. I wonder why SVC stopped selling them? I love these fans. Not a lot of output, but they make great quiet case fans and they were cheap too.

so-so reseller ratings...I'd probably buy some, but I don't really neeeeeeeeed any right now, and I don't feel like paying shipping ;)

Those aren't the right ones either.

Here's the correct info: "Model # 3110KL-04W-B19, 12V DC, 0.06A".

I love these fans. I used to buy them 10 at a time from SVC, I use 'em for customer systems. I'm down to about 15 left.

Dorothy Bradbury in England still carries them but they cost 5 British pounds plus shipping. Quite a far cry from the $2 SVC versions!

I have 4 nmb 18cfm/18db,a vantec stealth and a couple of the the $1 fans from nexfan.com. The cheap fans from nexfan are a little louder but really cheap, I would give them a look.

These are silent ones. These are 2150 rpm, 22dBA, 25CFM. About the exact same as panaflo L1A's, better in my opinion.

The fans that I'm referring to are about 18-19 cfm and about 15 db. I'm not sure on the numbers, but both db and cfm are under 20.

SVC was selling them for under $3 each. I think I remember about $2 each, but I can't remember now.

Coolroyboy2 has the answer, I think- they're apparently discontinued. Explains why they were so inexpensive, too... They're a lot quieter than L1a panaflos, imho, and the power consumption tells the tale. L1a=.1A, nmb=.06A. They also push less air, despite what the specs may have been. The best alternative to the nmb's that I've found is the pcp&c silencer, at .08A, or running an L1a at 7v....

The fan you want is the model that I listed in my post. Trust me. I bought tons of them from SVC and I read and posted the model number right off of one of them. Look at my post from yesterday. They used to sell for $2.50 each or 10 for $19.50. I used to buy them 10 at a time for my customer machines.

Don't waste your money on those Directron NMBs if you want them to be as quiet as the SVC versions. They aren't, because they're not the same model. Note that it says "Airflow: 25CFM. Noise: 22-40 dBA". That's a bad sign.....

To my ears the 25 CFM NMB's have loud bearing noise. I've been much happier with Panaflo L1A's.
A good option if you want almost total silence is to 7V the SVC 32 CFM fan.

Anyone know a where I can get some decent, low noise 80mm fans for about $4 apiece? I need 3 for my case. Thanks.

I remember these NMB fans, I bought them from SVC too. I think i still have 5. They were 2 around 2 dollars a piece.

Also what was nice was the wires were inside a black plastic tubing, which made things look neater.
