Do they sell them in the regular stores? Or do they have to be custom ordered?

Big&Tall...

No, seriously try Gunzo's in Chicagoland. They will get you a pair.

Are you sure you need 15? It's usually a size / size and a half lower than your shoe size.

My shoe size is 11 and I ended up with size 6 Ice skates. Your suppose to get Ice skates smaller than your shoe size...its suppose to feel like you have a blade on your foot when your ice skating.

I just got a pair of size 15 ice skates for Christmas.

They are Bauer hockey skates. I'm not sure of where she got them, but I know she had to order them. The price sticker on the box said they were $199.99.

Also, to HgrdGman, wearing skates 5 sizes smaller is crazy. I went skating last month and wore a pair of size 13 skates instead of 15, and all my toes got bruised because they were so tight.

Yeah I thought the guy at the pro shop was crazy when he said that..they were the CCM skates that you put in the oven and then form fit them to your foot and it was either size 6 or 7 I can't remember.

Are you sure you are a size 15 skate and not a size 15 shoe size? Skate sizes are a little smaller 13-14 for a size 15 foot depending on the manufacturer.

There is a sizing chart on this website.

Sizes also vary by manufacturer.

My son out-grew his skates from last season, so this season needed new ones.

The skates we ended up with are the "same size" as the ones from last year... just a different manufacturer.

According to that, I should be able to get away with size 13 Bauer, though for most other manufacturers I'd need 14 :\
