Not for my position. Salary.com's range for a Software Engineer II is almost exactly the same as my company's range for my position.
Just remember that it really doesn't take geographical location into account. They use a national average and adjust it based on the average difference in salaries across all positions for that location.

Ask the other software engineers if mid 50's is overpaid.
