Where can I find port numbers for E mails?

I have a nice little XP desktop program and I am trying to get it to check and let me know when I have emails waiting. How can I find out the port numbers of what Hotmail and Juno use for the mail servers?

I went to hotmails page and junos page and I couldnt turn up the answer...

I am using Samurize for winxp.....

I cant get the stupid E mails to work....

Hotmail won't allow you to check your email with pop3 unless you pay 'em.

That way, you hafta visit their website and see their ads.

The ads, I might add, that pay for the service so that it's free to you.

25 is smtp
110 is pop 3
143 is imap
220 is imap 3

Do a search on SMTP, POP3 and IMAP. I think the ports are 25, ?, 125. Just off the top of my head though.

I'm sure that app you have only works with POP3 or IMAP servers of which Hotmail isn't unless you pay for a deluxe account.
