You aren't interested in any of the American songs from the 1930s / 1940s? They aren't French (obviously), but a lot of them have upbeat or funny overtones.

I even loved Cars. The Incredibles was badass. Monsters Inc, the cutest story with the girl? Wall-E was good. Up! was nice as well.

I lived in France (Paris) for 6 or 7 years, that's sounds pretty unexceptional to me. By "unexceptional" I don't mean bad, just pretty common; shouldn't be hard to find.

You specifically say "songs", and not just that specific singer's voice (again, pretty common). I guess you're just have to check out French pop songs or maybe movie scores and pick out songs you like.
