I had a GeForce 2 GTS 32MB in my rig. Just switched to the Radeon 9500 Pro 128MB. I was all psyched to see the performance gains, but Unreal Tournament (not 2003) played at no greater than 44 fps with mega artifacts and choppiness. I was getting 70-75 fps with the GTS card. I dont mind reinstalling my system from scratch, but if I can avoid it, so much the better. I used the Catalyst 3.1 drivers and the latest ATI control panel. Is this a good way to go or do I need to go back to the 3.0 cats. Thanks for the help and the links guys. Keep 'em coming. Can use all of the resources I can get.

Sounds like driver issue to me... clean install it.

yeah, driver cleaner works pretty well for ATI or Nivdia.
