PIII beats Celeron. Thunderbird beats PIII. XP beats Thunderbird. Therefore XP kicks the Celerons arse!! I don't have any links for this comparo, but clock for clock the XP beats the freakin' P IV. to even put the Celeron in the same category is a joke, imho.

anyway, here a celeron vs. XP review
 
I have a Tualatin Celeron and it's great. The only thing holding the Celeron back is its 100MHz bus. If Intel allowed the Tualatins to have a 200 or 266MHz bus then we could use PC2100 DDR-SDRAM which'd increase performance to ATHLON XP levels.🙂
