Where can I find AM4 fan mounting brackets?

Hi,

I need to track down some AM4 mounting brackets and stock back-plate.
These are the brackets that fans and cooling sets clip onto.

It appears that a whole bunch of cooling solutions depend on these brackets for install.

Any help appreciated!

Talk to your motherboard manufacturer. Most AM4 ready cooling solutions, don't even require you to remove the bracket. So, they are probably either going to tell you that you are either out of luck or you need to pay a decent amount for it.
 
Note that, per something I read somewhere, that the backplate for AM4 protrudes upwards past the surface of the board, whereas the AM3 backplate did not. So, while the stock mounting clips are largely compatible, the backplates themselves, are (apparently?) NOT.

So, yes, rig your mobo mfg, and see if they can ship you a set.
 
Yeah. The first option needs a AM4 bracket from Cooler Master.
The Noctua is a definite option.

Its just a bummer as a quick fix such as the Corsair H60 relies on those plastic mounting clips too.

Yeah. Quick fixes (from Amazon Overnight) get a little trickier if you are missing those brackets.

the corsair AIO LIQUID COOLERS with the round water blocks don't use the brackets . For my older H55, I had to order the AM4 bracket from Corsiar for $4.95 but I think the newer ones that say AM4 compatible come with it. Interestingly the AMD cooler that came with my R5 1600 doesn't use the plastic brackets on the motherboad - in fact you have to remove them.
