The topic says it all.
A friend here at work was given a spindle of Sony CD-R's, but he does not know what their max recording speed is. He used Roxio Easy CD Creator to burn a few CD's yesterday. All of them worked fine in his car CD player, but none worked at all on his home CD player. I am thinking this might happen if Easy CD Creator burned at a higher speed than these CD's were rated to burn at.
Is this plausible?
If so, is there a utility that will identify max burn speed of CD-R's?
Thanks.
