I am trying to make my own watercooling setup. right now, my main problem is finding a radiator. i am a cheap poor college student, so half the fun is trying to make an effective system for a low cost.. i feel certain that i can do it. does anyone know where i can buy somethink like the coil/radiator off the back of dorm refrigderator? i have looked around, but no one on campus is throwin any away right now :) any ideas? thanks!

Go to Autozone or another autoparts store and pick up a heatercore for a '87 Chevette. Put on your size of barbs with some JB Weld, make a shroud for a 120mm fan and you're good to go. Expect to spend about $20-25 for the heatercore and $5 for the barbs and JB Weld. Or you can buy a heatercore from dangerden.com for about $42 + shipping which is the same exact thing.

Surprisingly, heatercores are the cheapest and highest performing radiators for watercooling systems. :)

Dtek you can buy a heatercore with either 1/2 or 3/8 barbs its the only ting to get, get the one with the shroud on it too I have done a lot of research in the past 2 months getting ready to watercool

The cheapest way is getting an automotive heater core from a junkyard.
