Dude it's really not worth it. The performance gain will slightly be noticeable, but not much. For that price you can get a duron and then all you have to worry about is getting a motherboard and some ram (I figure you have an LX based board with EDO ram possibly?) I think that if you don't have the money for that right now, you should wait a bit and save up, because I personally feel that buying a P2 is a big waste of money, unless you can get that 333 for dirt cheap (which should be the case, but you'd be surprised).

i agree with SMP, i saw the price($69.00) and thought wow, thats for a PII 333mhz.

you may want to check out Ebay, maybe someone is selling one dirt cheap, afterall, i dont think too many people are looking for PII's

good luck

Check the For Sale/Trade forum. Do a quick search for P2, or 333, or Pentium II, etc...

BTW, why MX400? It's a half powered NV15 Geforce 2. For that money ($70 or so) you can get a Geforce 2 GTS-V, which has all four pipelines and 4.2gb of bandwidth instead of 2.7gb of bandwidth. Such a card can be found for $62 online. And if you have a bit more, Ti200 prices may be coming down: Best Buy had a Gf3 Ti200 for $99 after MIR.
