Where can I find a ethernet card for a Flex-ATX case?

I've opened up my friend's Gateway Flex-ATX case and i'm like there is no way that i can fit an ethernet card in there. so Where do I go to find one?

Do you mean there is not enough clearance? Try to get a card that is only half as tall like most Ritek based card. I know my 10/100 CNet PRO120 (DEC Chipset) is as long as a 3COM 905 but only about 1.5" tall. That card was the best $5 investment on a part. There are drivers for every OS under the sun.

The PCI slots in that case are half-height. There is a half-height PCI 10/100 NIC available from Gateway.

Half height as in the rail is shorter? Get a regular NIC that doesn't use up the entire rail space, like a LinkSys, and trim the rail. 🙂 You'd have to do some bending and drilling to be able to make a screw mount again, but it'd probably be cheaper and better than what you'd get from Gateway.
