Where can I find a complete guide to building a PC step by step?

My dad said I can get new computer parts for christmas as long as I show him some proof that I have instructions on how to assemble a PC from scratch. Although, I'm pretty sure of what to do, I too would like a good site to back me up. I've seen alot of sites that simply say "how to assemble a PC," but it doesn't explain at which times you install certain drivers. Thanks for the help.
