where can i find a cheap notary in socal?

Most decently large banks will have a notary or two.
Try your own bank first, if you're a customer they'll probably do it for free.

Banks do it for free alot of the time. Bank of America will only do it if you have an account with them.

BankOne will do it for free for anyone.

If you live in a small town, you might check out City Hall. My local one has 2 or 3 notaries and they all do it for free.

my bank did it for free for me because I had an account with them. Just go to your local bank that you have an account with and they will probably do it for free.

i went to a bank that i didn't have an account with (HSBC, i believe) and they did it without getting any personal information about me. i was happy. 🙂

Check out the Quick Ship type places... They often have that service for $15.

$15 for a notary?
They're allowed to charge a 'reasonable fee' for the service, but $15 sounds pretty damn excessive to me.

Most of the notaries I've stumbled on were $25 and up.

Banks rock, but he didn't say whether he had a bank or not.
