Where can I find a cheap 2-port DVI switch? Why are they $100+?

I'm trying to find a cheap DVI-D (Digital) switch but it seems like they all cost $100 and typically even more than that.

I don't need a KVM but instead all I need is a simple way to have one source device be able to switch between two output devices (monitor and TV).

Thanks for any help!

Would that work?

It says it's for two sources devices and one output device. I want the opposite (one source device and two output devices)... I was told that this device wouldn't work but I'm not sure.

EDIT: Also, that only supports up to 1280x1024. I need something that goes as high as 1920x1200. :(

You're right. I read "switch" and assumed you are connecting two inputs to one output, and not the other way around. If I'm not mistaken, for one input and two outputs, you need a "splitter."

Maybe something like this.

That one isn't powered, and I'm unsure if it supports higher resolutions.

They have a powered one here for much more $$$. I don't have first hand experience with either so unfortunately I can't say which will be right for your needs.
