Where can I find 800, 1000, and 2000 grit sandpaper?

Would it be at a craft store or something?

Home Depot, Lowes or any hardware or paint store should have it. Auto Zone or other auto parts stores, in the paint section probably have it, too.

You can probably find some at an Auto Part store in their auto body department. Maybe even walmart in their tool department

i could not find this at home depot and instead went to a local hobby shop and got it there. I still have a ton. Tamiya brand. Good stuff. You may want to check http://www.towerhobbies.com too

Pepboys has it all. I needed a bunch for painting my case, and they had it (200 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2000)

Heck, you can even get 1000 grit at Harbor Freight though I don't see it listed on their website. They have up through 1000 or 1200 grit at the B&M store near me. Call them and see if you can order it. Home improvement stores are ridiculous when it comes to sandpaper prices.
