Where can I check the reliability rating of a car?

Consumer Reports apparently charges you for them..but does anyone know of a good database of older cars' reliability ratings?

Some part of consumer report are free, although not complete you should get the idea of the reliability.
edmunds is a good source too. epinions avg rating can be of some help too.

edit: I know this thread is about quality, but their price guidelines are accurate too.

What car in particular are you looking at? Maybe there's some ppl here who actually have one who can give you some experience.

yeb, try Edmunds. Or just to to your local Kroger and read CR while your there. No need to buy the mag.
