Where can I check my processors serial #???

I wanna check and make sure I got the venice core, it came from monarch computer combo, who knows what might have happened.

How can I check this without turning on the computer or taking off the heatsink *oozing laziness*

should do it for you, well partial, don't think it gives serial number; but will tell you core, etc.

You'll have to take the heatsink off to read the stepping code, but to see what core you have just download CPU-Z. Google it, I'm too lazy to link.

Thanks, but my comp has no power supply, so I was just wondering if there was a site where you could enter the serial # and get the info.

You'd have to get the stepping code off the top of the CPU. It should read something like LBBLE0405xxxxx.
