Where can I buy those grey/black sponge pads...

You know those squishy foamy pads that come in new motherboards? When you buy a mobo, it comes in an anti-static bag and its bottom is secured by these pads...

I wanna buy these as a cheap solution to case-silencing. I can't afford to spend $40+ on real noise-reduction pads. And I'm pretty sure the difference isn't worth $40~

Home Depot didn't have any unless the guy I spoke to was an idiot...

Did you try a auto parts supply store for the noise-reduction pads? Kragen, PepBoys...

Maybe hit up some local computer shops?

AFAIK, they're not just foam.. it's anti-static foam.

they don't have to be anti static, just have to be foamy and squishy.
