I'm working with a lady that wants a lot (say 10 or 20) computers for the school, they are just going to be used to run one program.
The computer needs to be at least a pentium 200.
It needs to be UNDER $400, preferably $300.
Free shipping is good, as i'm in alaska.
thanks much

You'll have to check, but I believe the Air Force gives computers of about that speed to schools- my kids school just got a batch of P166's in this last year.
The AF wipes the HD, so you'll have to get a OS, but that's about it

I wonder if E-Machines are under 400... Probably not.

BTW, what's it like in Alaska?

Try this angle. Small businesses can often get a better bottom line by donating their old equip to schools or charities and taking a tax writeoff than by selling them or trading them in. Big difference between the fetching price of old computers and the alleged tax value! Contact local civic minded groups in your area, (Rotarians, Shriners, Elks etc) local or regional business leaders, computer sellers, and any others along those lines. If you can sell them on the idea, you might be surprised at what they can get done. Probably tougher in alaska, unless you are in or near one of the more populated areas.
