Where can I buy some good quality t-shirts?

I do most of my clothes shopping at macy's, but Ill go anywhere for a good t-shirt. My "good" t-shirt I mean;

-nice thick material, not that stretchy crap
-durable, doesnt shrink in the wash
-high thick collar that grips the neck. I hate those thin low cut collars.

Most of the tshirts I still wear today are ones that I bought maybe five years ago, like the older russel athletic shirts. Their new design is horrible, thin, strechy, shrinks and has low cut collars. I bought three new shrits a couple months ago; I only wear one, the other two shrank in the wash, and yes I followed the proper wash settings.

So, where can I get some good tshirts and what brand? Good quality duarble material, not that strechy crap. High thick collars, ect. I dont give a crap about logos, I just want a good shirt.

I am wondering the same thing. I want about 10 white, 2 black, 2 red, 2 blue, 2 gray, and 1 of every other color offered.

I buy all of my tshirts from Banana Republic. What I buy are your standard crew shirts, and I typically use them for undershirts, working out, etc. I've not found any other material that can compare. They fit great, hold up nicely and don't shrink or stretch.

EDIT: I should also say that the colors are thick, there are no tags (I hate tags on my shirts) and the cotton is nice and thick. It doesn't feel cheap like your other brands (e.g. Jockey).

How's the material? Soft and satiny or coarse thread, and rough? Also, what's the price? Since it's Banana, I assume $10 per.

It's definitely on the softer side, but not satiny. It's just very comfortable. It's not at all rough.

I think I pay ~$13-16 per shirt. I have about 16 of them 😀

Yea, $10 was the minimum I thought they'd charge. I am looking for them to use just as you use them. I like matching my undershirt to whatever I am wearing.😀

I'm not sure if I can justify such a purchase though. I'm sure that if I went in, and they fit like magic monkey woah, I'd end up with 20 undershirts for $300+.

I too desire this mythical t-shirt. I need size LT or XLT though; large shoulders/chest and long torso. Cost is not a factor - willing to pay up to $30 per t-shirt for the following requirements:

LT or XLT
Not stretchy
Thick material
No pockets
No visible logos or trademarks

I have tees from 5-9 years ago that still wear fine, but are a little faded. Recent textile quality is noticably worse and wear sizes seem to be smaller than their indicated size on the tags.

disclosure - this is my wife's business. We are adding to her line-up of shirts. Currently have about 23 different brands/makes of men's T-Shirts.

P.S. - Feel free to give us some feedback. I'm still working on the site.
