Are these better than the L1A's? Cause I looked at the site and this one has more CFM..but louder.

You can get them at www.millisec.com and what's better depends on whether you want a relatively quiet fan (the L1A) or a relatively high output (the U1A). Another option would be the Enermax adjustable-speed fan, which gives you the option to change the noise/output as you wish (up to the limits of the fan anyway).

Doh! It looks like millisec is getting ready to close down for good. :( Well, here's a linkie to the U1A with 3-pin connector if you want one.

PCMODS has the tails for .99 cents, they are out of stock of the fans though. Best bet for the L1A's would be BG Micro, under $3!

If you do go with BG micro, don't expect much in the way of communication. I got an order confirm, a week later nothing else. I emailed today and they shipped it two days ago. Seem like nice folks and I'm sure they operate on a slim margin, but if you like tracking numbers/ship notices etc, be proactive.

I got my 80mm and 92 MM Panaflo U1A's at Newegg.com.
Newegg Panaflos
Just $10 a piece. It's OEM though so make sure you pick up a 3-pin or 4-pin connector to go with them.

I have these 2 running in my modified Antec KS-282 case and can definitly say that they're excellent. I cooled my cpu temps down 10c and my system temp down 13c with these two fans. They are loud though. Personally it doesn't bother me, but people who like quite fans probably wouldn't like them. ;)
