this was just on some discovery channel show. in the end, they beat the deadline and got to demo the thing for darpa. i guess this is further evidence of discovery sliding down the toilet - presenting 4 to 5 year old material as new.

edit: yeah, it's pretty badass. too bad it won't perform nearly at that level once the horsepower is cut by 75% and things are actually attached to it.
