Where can I buy either Sunon Tornado or Vantec Tornado case fans?

I'm looking to replace some of my 80mm case fans with the Tornado (I know it will be noisy and all, but I don't really care much about it).

However I'm not sure where I can buy them.
Anyone know where is the cheapest place I can buy one of these beast? Either a Canadian online store, physical store or any other online store that will ship to Canada (with reasonable cost obviously).

Thanks for the help people.

Have you actually used a Tornado before? I never bought one but saw it in action. I didn't even want to get close to it because I thought it'd cut something off of me. (it's got a built-in 'grills', though) My memory isn't clear enough but it was something like this. (in its prowess) Check the linked video.

Good luck and be careful.

http://nexfan.com/vantec-tornado-80x80x38mm-case-fan-td8038h.html and they ship to Canada - you have to contact them by email for arranging shipping.
http://www.jab-tech.com/Vantec-Tornado-80mm-and-92mm-fan-pr-1494.html so does J-T (one of my favorite resellers) - but he only offers International Priority with ridiculous cost. But you may be able to get him to ship by ALP - contact them via the onsite form.
You want to have them ship it at Air Letter Post rate which is by far the best combination of ship time and cost to Canada for small and light packages - there is no insurance or tracking available on this service so you will have to be willing to assume all shipping risks unless you can find it from a Canadian vendor. NCIX lists the Vantec.

Thanks for the reply people.

lopri - I've heard about how noisy these fans are, and well prepared for them.
Zepper - yea that's always the problem with those online stores they grope you with their rediculous shipping fees.
VinDSL - tried that kind of search before but got only junks results, maybe I did a typo somewhere.

You must live near the railroad or something if you can stand full blast tornado fans. I have some Xtreme Turbines myself and only run them at 40% most of the time.

Well the 80 Silen-X don't move any air (even the 120mm units don't move much) - easy to be quiet when you don't actually have to move some air...

I saw the link up there to infonec and I can tell you the minute they have the payment, they ship real fast.

Anyway, I just wanted to add that case-mod.com says they can order anything you don't see on their site. So, I guess that might make them a source for harder to find products. You can also try shopbot.ca because it seems to work better than pricenetwork.ca and pricegrabber.ca for whatever reason.

Why are people so negative about me buying this fan.

It's not you buying it anyway. Before I decided to buy this fan I've heard about how bad it will sound. And I actually have got one now, and it wasn't as bad as many seems to put it.

I have 2 old Cheetah drives, and honestly their noise are more annoying that this fan.

IT'S YOUR POST COUNT...

These ppl are real turds to n00bs -=- a tough crowd, if you will.

They did the same thing to me, at first -- said I was somebody else -- sicked the mods on me, et cetera, until I had like 1000 posts.

Then, I was an okay ass*ole, just like them...

So, hang in there or die -- your choice!

Admitting that you're offended by their antics will get you no place! 😀

VinDSL ... thanks for the encouragement.

Honestly I'm not offended at all, just wonders why they sound so negative about it.

Oh well life goes on ... 🙂

Really cause last I checked the 3 pin Sunon's only move 39CFM which is like 7 cfm more than the SilenX and they're 32db which is nearly twice as loud. I have my TJ09 full of 120mm 14db 72CFM fans and it's PLENTY of air movement and a LOT quieter than many fans that move the same or even LESS air.
