Where can I buy brass standoffs to mount mobo's with?

Hi all,
I have been putting together a lot of rigs lately and I am chronically out of brass standoffs. Is there a reasonable place to buy them, preferrably online?

Directon sells them here. They are $.12/each, $.06/each if you buy in bulk. Though they will not guarantee whether they will be brass or steel if that concerns you.

Sounds like you got what you needed covered, but I was going to suggest that you stop by a local shop that builds systems. They likely have quite a bunch of left over screws and stand offs. I was in a similar sitatution and stopped by my local Computer Renaissance store to see if they would sell me a few. The tech just handed me a box full of assorted screws and stand offs, which they wouldn't even take any money for when I offered. Although I buy most of my stuff on line, I've made a point of picking up at least a few items there, since then.

I seem to recall that they come in different sizes.

Yes, there are 2 different screw sizes in the standoffs - and there are longer or shorter ones for specialized cases. Too bad I missed your post because I've been very busy and not had time to do the forum thing. I would have given you some, since I got bags of all of that kinda stuff.

Of course there are other benefits that may accrue from knowing one of the dorks at a local computer outlet. :gift:
