I'm looking for an AT MB to use with my 166Mhz pentium (my father-in-law just uses it to his finances here in FL). I tried Overstock and Computer Geeks (had one last week for $17, should have bought it), but nothing now. I believe the MB went out (doesn't POST at all and I replaced the CPU). I checked the power supply voltages and they're all fine. When I turn it on, the HD spins up and reads for 3-4 seconds, then nothing. I noticed that the Turbo light stays on regardless of setting when I press the button on the case. Thanks in advance.

Dunno if it's any help but dabs.com (a UK site) have a couple of old mobo's that have appeared in their online catlogue last week, it's a bit strange to be reading down through socket a and fcpga boards and next thing you see is this 430TX socket 7 board.. check out the abit section in mobos

Hope this is some good

See if you can find a SOYO 5EHM. Its an AT mobo with ATX connector as well. Should be fine for P 166. Its good for AMD K6-2s and -3s as well

I have a SOYO motherboard that I bought and found out to be AT style. I don't think that it will take a socket 7 CPU but why not get a 366-533 Celeron and it will fly compared to before.

The SOYO 5EHM will take Pentium 54C and 55c(MMX), Cyrix and AMD K6 series. Its a pretty good mobo for low end systems. Gave a K6-2 setup to my GF, works like a charm.

P54C takes 5v I/O, while P55C takes 3.3v I/O.. your Pentium 166 is likely a P54C.. because on most super7 boards it will not supply enough voltage for your CPU.
