Where can I buy a Zippy EL-720 keyboard?

I'm interested in buying one of these keyboards, and they appear on the Zippy website, but I can't find a place that sells them. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Edit: Oh, and I'm in the US. :D

That's in New Zealand. I'll pay an arm and a leg in shipping. Something a little closer to home would be nice. :D

Yes, Zippy keyboards are hard to find. But try froogle... It could possibly be packaged under several different names - just need to get its shape in your mind and then hit the sites looking for EL keyboards.

Thanks for all the help. There are certain features unique to the EL-720 that were the reasons for my choosing it.

Among them were:

* Real aluminum upper casing.

* White, as opposed to clear keys. (I think the white gives the letters more definition as opposed to seeing all the transparent artifacts of key moldings in clear keyed illuminated keyboards)

* Full sized keyboard with a slim, small footprint.

The EluminX boards have clear keys so I'm not really considering them. The EL-715 doesn't have an aluminum casing which, alone, isn't a deal breaker. I just don't care for the look of it. And the one with the hand rest isn't particularly attractive either. The EL-610 is too small.

The closet I've come to finding an acceptable "it'll do" candidate is this one...

That one looks slim, it's nice and sleek, it's silver (though not aluminum), and it has white keys. I wish I knew something about the brand or could find a review, though.

It LOOKS like it might be a Zippy-manufactured keyboard with a custom casing on it. The key placement is identical to the EL-715.

Does anyone know anything about it?

Directron in Houston had them at their reecent garage sale, don't know if they are on the website. Bought one and promply spilled a coke on it, first time ever done that! Some keys don't work properly now. Not too sorry as I really did not like it. Key layout different and I had trouble typing on it accurately, although might have gotten used to it in time.

compgeeks.com has the 722 w/ laptop style keys. Not EL, but then I can't see the point in a lit kbd.

Saitek will supposedly be releasing a new version of the "Gamers Keyboard" that has etched keys where the letters glow. (Currently, the Gamers Keyboard only glows through the edges of the keys themselves.)

This keyboard is an LED backlit keyboard.

I only know what I read in some E3 or other trade show "preview" of it.

The room this system is in has very poor lighting. Glowing keys would be a godsend.

That sounds perfect! I liked that keyboard since I first saw it, but was turned off by edge lighting. I want something that highlights letters.

And with as much typing as I do, and the way the letters always wear off my keyboards, etching would be ideal.

If your room is so poorly lit, then a better investment would be a floor lamp with a 100W equivalent compact fluorescent bulb to locate near your work area...

Cool! I've been waiting for a good backlit keyboard ever since I saw those Mac laptops that had the backlit keys. Seems like all the backlit keyboards now are kinda cheesy looking. Hopefully this Saitek will deliver, or at least spur some competition :) .
