I just posted an 8700k for sale in the For Sale / Trade section. It's posted a little bit high right now, but I am accepting all reasonable offers. It's first come first serve on it.
I figured I would set it a bit high and let people make me reasonable offers. I think I am going to drop it though.Yeah, I took a look and was interested until I saw the price. I’ll just wait for my B&H order to show up in a few weeks. Gives me time to decide on other components.
You're not trying hard enough!Well crap, I missed it yet again.

I dunno, I'm selling mine, I already own a pile of Ryzen 3 and 5 CPUs.
I ended up paying 538 for mine, it was micro center who was gouging. It was 499.99 + tax. Newegg has risen the price multiple times now and I see it increasing once more as well. I'm only asking 475 shipped for mine currently and I am accepting offers. They are going on ebay for 550-650 all day long. I was trying to let the duplicate go to a forum member though.Um, not sure if you're supposed to promote FS/FT threads in here, but if the mods allow it then whatever.
Sucks that you're gouging though.
I have an 8700k, but virtual larry has the i3 if I recall correctly.You have a 8700k?

yeah, I have the i3, on an ITX board with dual gigabit Intel LAN, and wireless 802.11ac onboard, which should make a killer pfSense box.but virtual larry has the i3 if I recall correctly.

I actually thought about getting one, just so I know what they would do myself. But I am not paying more than $380 (MSRP I think). A little over 10% markup ? I just got my second threadripper since they were 12% BELOW MSRP, so I can understand your comment about team red. This markup BS is almost enough to turn me to team Red - almost. Thank you Intel for the slow ramp, getting annoyed.
