Where can i buy a big ol bottle of Absinthe?

Trying to find a good E-tailer to buy some from. Only looking for like a fifth.

Anyone buy this stuff before? Where did you get it and how was the buzz?

I brought back 3 fifths from Prauge..

I did my share of drinking on it, all I got was drunk, not high or anything else like I heard.. And it tastes HORRIBLE.

I think it tastes good...like licorice. Course, after 1/2 a handle taste doesn't matter much. What is it, like 65% alcohol?
 
There are plenty of rumors about it. I have even found a receipe for it before(still lookn') BUT like stated above It will get you drunk, and is an acquired taste. Follow CorporateRecreation insructions instead.

The bottle my friend brought back was either 60% or 65%. It was gone in a night, and didn nothing but cause drunkeness. Absinthe is overrated.

Thats not what i want to here at all. A friend of mine who is studying abroad in slovokia is sending me three bottles for $30 each.

FYI-

You'd better really, really, really like anise if you want this stuff.

You can get the real stuff via mail-order, but it's expensive.

By the time you get enough in you for the wormwood to do anything, you're passed out from the alcohol.



It's just not that big a deal, really. Smoke a bowl and have some nice whiskey. The end result is about the same.

My dreams on absinth were pretty effing cool.
 
do they even make it the way it used to be made?

i thought they no longer put the same quantities of wormwood that gave that high
 
You are not supposed to drink hella absinthe to feel the effects. If you drink it like alcohol you kill the effects with the drunkeness. Its best to just take one shot of it,maybe two. This will give you the full effect of the green ferry.

It's not overrated, it's just tightly controlled in many countries and made to non-original recipes to get past the laws prohibiting it. The alcohol content is meaningless, it's the wormwood that causes the hallucinagenic effects and the wormwood is what makes it illegal in most places. So it's faked and made with high alcohol content to fool idiot tourists who buy it without knowing it's not the real thing. Your friend is an idiot tourist.
