I've always been a big fan of football, but haven't been able to actually play it myself since elementary school, and even then it was just two hand touch/flag. I want to suit up in real gear and play some real football. Any leagues out there for Joe Nobodies? I could probably play for the Cardinals, but I'm not sure how to try out ;). Or maybe i could play Canadian football, i wouldn't mind moving over there. Seriously though, i wanna play. The opportunity to play for a school is long gone. I'm 20 years old.

You really don't want to. There are a couple small leagues around here that guys from the HS teams played for when they couldn't get a scholarship to a university. It's fvcking brutal. Players will do anything to make a name for themselves. The coaches are just interested in your signup cash. Guys with almost no experiece are thrown in with 380lb guys who are looking to really hurt people. It's really dangerous, & not worth it at all.

I actually sold my old gear & took up playing basketball. I was so set on football at one time in my life. I barely even touched a basketball before highschool, & with enough time into it, I find I'm not that bad at all. Much easier to find a game too.

I know that you said you want to suit up and play for real... but I'll say this anyways...

Find a local sports park or the YMCA... There's a place here called the RecPlex that offers adult flag football leagues...

Find a place that offers slow pitch softball for adults... go in, and try to drum up some interest for a flag league... or if they have one, play in it...

Eh, i'd doubt there would be 380 lb guys playing in small leagues.

Anyhow, i guess there isn't anything out there for me *sniff*. I don't like other people anyways, so i probably wouldn't like it.

why do you doubt that there won't be 380lb guys? just because you are big does not mean you automaticly get a scholership.

Just mainly because 380 lb guys arent common, not even in the NFL, i'm not saying it's impossible, but it would be unlikely.
