Where are your blocks? Have you given up?

We only got 1 1/4 million blocks yesterday. The DPC keep getting now over 3 million blocks per day. Have some of you thrown the towel? It's starting to look that way. Holidays schmolidays. I hope that your buffers were filled before you took a few days off and that in the next couple of days there will be some major dumps. Otherwise, the DPC will pass us in 13 days. :|

This feels like the 1972 NHL-Russia series all over again. :|

Well, a lot of my assimilations were shut down over the holidays. My output dropped by a couple thousand a day because of that...

I'm sure it is the same with a lot of other people, too.

me and my new assimilation broke the top 200 for the team yesterday - I had my best day ever :)
[course we're just smallfries] ;)

Lesson learned from yesterday's stats: Running 24 hours straight is a GOOD thing :D

My network at work had been down for 5 days and hence very little production. Will be back in full swing from now on. I have about 200 Dell 833Mhz pc's sitting in our warehouse that are to be deployed this year. Might be a nice little increase in productivity. :)

I only got half my normal RC5 rate since the 21st. Those people keep turning off the PCs! But, no heifer that was turned on went hungry.

Tomorrow I'll have a nice flush, and as of today the normal rate will be back in effect.

One of my remote pproxies had it's circuit breaker flipped off over the weekend (and the ATX MB doesn't support Power Resume). So now I have a bunch of machines cracking randoms until it gets powered up sometime this morning (just came online three minutes ago).

I'll add 2 PIII 550 and a P166MMX from my SETI fleet on thursday. They are on 24/7. :)

I have also added two Celeron 700's and a Celeron 466 to RC% (can only crack about 6-8 hours per day since the boss won't let me leave them on :() and a K6-3+ 600 to OGR as converts the SETI aliens changed into Cows.. :D

Hi all,

I'm Dee67's new assimilation. Please forgive all the standard
newbie mistakes that I'll make. ;-)

Only been RC5'ing for 3 days now, but I'll let the PII 350,
and Athlon 900 work on it.

Nice place you have here. ;)

Brad,

Was that pproxy part of the roundrobin? I'm trying to find some 100,000 blocks lost on 12/30/2000. They were flushed via proxy.teamanandtech.com within the last 10 minutes before cutoff time, but did not made it to DNET:(

Still hoping...;)

I am cracking as fast as I can! I have a Athlon 950 on its way though, and I think that will boost my production. I am running a PIII 700 right now.

It is a shame that more people don't want to help out. I wish there was a way to convince that this is important and it helps Anandtech!

I have all my computers howling along 24/7, and that's saying something, because they're in my bedroom and they make a lot of noise (the Curse of the Blowhole!) Heh, the dualeron has over 6 weeks of uptime. :)

[Heavy Scottish accent]Captain...I'm giving you all she's got![/Heavy Scottish accent]

Assimilated a pair on c300A@450 and a new addition to the herd is on the way: a BP6 with twin 366@550!

My boss took a long hard look at the network running under my desk today, but didn't say anything! :)

OK Denni, As a S@H'er I am here to help. I have started RC5 running on 3 computers along with S@H, but I reduced the SETI Client Priorty to "low" so that RC5 gets about 11% of the cycles. I have also stated it running on a P233MMX@262 MHz. As I upgrade my SETI boxes I will put the lesser systems to running RC5 (Cel366, 433, 300A, etc.) Not much, but hopefully it will be of some help!

BTW: I am very impress with what I've learned about the RC5 project in the past few days. I have copy of the software on a network and all of the other computers use the same buff-in and buff-out files. It keeps me from having to put a copy on each system. I also like the TeAm stats which update every 30 minutes and the round-robin Proxy system. You guys have done a great job for the TeAM! Thanks!

Sorry, my company is at about half staff right now. When all the computers in the office were in use, it was one thing to leave them on 24/7. Now that half of them go unused, it's hard to justify to my boss why they need to be left on all the time. So I've lost half my herd. :(

But I did get my dual 450 running again at home. And I could probably get another 450 setup at home with spare parts.

Just checked Mika's, we did have some nice dumps today--I had been in the top 50 for the week :D, but got bumped down to number 52 :(:). Don't mind get knocked down too much as long as it's by a teammate.

I am going to start to acquire them this month. I should have them all rolled out by this summer, I hope. This doesn't take into account about 15 servers (most duals, some quads, and one 8-way) being brought online, as well. Maybe I can finally take over number one in the weeklies at Mika's again :)

I'm waiting for Adul to get back. My "zombie" herd sends to the pproxy he flushes.
