where are xp icons stored?

Hello,

I'm creating a application that is like windows explorer and I'm trying to find the icons that are used in microsofts windows explorer and I can't find them. Can anyone help tell me where they are stored so i can reference them???

I always thought they were in the hex-code of explorer.exe Get a program called reshack you can look at em and edit them with it.
