Where are Viewsonic, NEC, and iiYama monitors manufactured?

Just curious, as I currently have an old 15" Sony that had to be sent back for repair twice, when it was brand new! I looked on the back of my Sony, and it was made in a country that has a bad reputation for poor quality products. I won't even mention that country so as not to hurt anyones feelings here. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice in purchasing a monitor. If someone that has one of the above listed brands, could look on their monitor where it was made, I would appreciate it.

My Viewsonic EF70 was made in China, my Iiyama VMpro450 was made in Japan. Note: the new, cheaper A-series Iiyamas are made in China also...
