The only I have found is the Connect3D and it has a very nice price tag too, ?132, link. But I can't seem to find out if it indeed has passive cooling. If you look at Connect3D site for the 9600NP, you will see a picture of a card with a fan, but when you click it, you get a pdf with specs on the 9700. So I wonder if the picture is the 9600NP or the 9700.

From the look of Sapphires site, they will produce a 9600NP and a 9600 Ultimate Edition (with no fan, like the 9700 UE ?). So I am guessing that the 9600 Ultimate Edition will be the 9600Pro with passive cooling and a price tag my wallet won't like.

I haven?t seen any 9600s (non-pro) here in Canada.

My shortlist is either a Sapphire 9100 64MB, or a 9600 128MB. I want to see what type of price those 9600?s come in at. I?m hoping they are about the same price as a 9000pro 128MB card. I wish they?d hurry up and get them out, my current graphics card is dying.

.

That's a picture of a 9500/9700, the 9600 pro (the 9600 is going to look very similar , if at all different) at least is fairly different,:

Thanks for clearing that up John.

Beyond3d has a pic (and some benchies) of the 9600NP in their review of the Radeon 9600Pro and this is were I noticed the fanless 9600, a Sapphire even.

I read somewhere that there would be 2 models of Sapphires 9600np. One with a fan and one passively cooled. I want the one with a fan ---- better for overclocking.
